ALCHEMY HAUS
Client Policies & Booking Agreement
Atlanta, GA  |  Effective 2026

These policies exist to protect your time, your investment, and the integrity of the experience at Alchemy Haus. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following terms.

1. Deposit Policy

 

Extension Services

A hair retainer equal to the full cost of your hair is required before each new hair order is confirmed. This retainer is used to purchase your hair. Hair is ordered after your retainer is received and will not be ordered without it.

  • The hair retainer is non-refundable. Once paid, it is used exclusively to purchase your hair for that order.

  • Your hair retainer covers the cost of your hair only. Labor and additional services are billed separately at your appointment.

  • The remaining balance (labor + any additional services) is due at your appointment.

Hair is a custom order placed specifically for you. Once ordered, it cannot be returned.

 

AI Scalp Services

AI scalp packages require a 50% deposit of the total package price at the time of booking.

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Balance is due at your first appointment.

  • Single sessions require full payment at the time of booking.

  • Late cancellation (less than 24 hours): your 50% deposit is forfeited. The remaining 50% must be paid before a new appointment is scheduled.

  • No-show: your 50% deposit is forfeited. The remaining 50% must be paid, plus an additional 50% prepayment is required to rebook. All payments must be received before a new appointment is scheduled.

 

Services Without a Deposit Requirement

Color-only, blow out, Brazilian Blowout, and other standalone finishing services do not require a deposit at initial booking. However, a late cancellation or no-show will trigger the pre-pay requirement outlined below.

2. Cancellation Policy

 

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel any appointment.

 

Services With a Deposit

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will result in a fee of 50% of the missed appointment. This fee is applied toward the missed appointment — not your next visit.

  • If your hair has already been ordered, it will be held and carried over to your rescheduled appointment once the 50% cancellation fee has been paid in full. You do not need to repurchase your hair. Payment must be received before a new appointment is scheduled.

 

Services Without a Deposit

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will require payment of 50% of the missed service before a new appointment can be booked. This fee is applied to the missed appointment — not the new one.

  • This fee is non-refundable and is not credited toward your next visit.

Consistent late cancellations may result in removal from the booking system.

3. No-Show Policy

 

A no-show is defined as missing your appointment without any prior notice.

 

All Services

  • A no-show fee of 100% of the missed appointment total is required before a new appointment can be scheduled. This applies to all services regardless of whether a retainer or deposit was collected.

  • This fee is non-refundable and is not applied toward your next appointment.

  • For extension appointments where hair has already been ordered, you do not need to repurchase your hair. Your hair is held at Alchemy Haus and will be installed at your rescheduled appointment once the no-show fee is paid in full. Payment must be received before the new appointment is scheduled.

After 3 missed appointments across any service type, a 50% prepayment of the upcoming appointment is also required at the time of scheduling — in addition to any outstanding fees. This is non-negotiable and must be paid before the appointment is confirmed.

Refusal to Pay

Refusal to pay a cancellation or no-show fee will result in immediate and permanent removal from the Alchemy Haus booking system. All future scheduled appointments will be forfeited with no refund of any retainer or prepayment on file.

Any retail products purchased through Alchemy Haus may be picked up within 6 months of removal. After 6 months, unclaimed retail becomes property of Alchemy Haus.

Any hair left at the salon will become property of Alchemy Haus after 6 months unless a separate arrangement has been discussed and agreed upon in writing prior to removal.

4. Reschedule Policy

 

Life happens. Rescheduling is available with at least 24 hours notice prior to your appointment.

  • Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours notice are treated as a late cancellation and the applicable policy applies.

  • Any prepayment on file will transfer to the rescheduled date if proper notice is given. Your hair retainer is unaffected as it has already been used to purchase your hair.

  • If you have been flagged under the no-show or late cancellation policy, 50% prepayment of your service is required before a new appointment is confirmed.

Please reschedule through the booking platform or by direct message. Voicemails and text messages sent fewer than 24 hours before an appointment do not satisfy the notice requirement.

5. Late Arrival Policy

 

Please arrive on time. Appointments are scheduled with intention and late arrivals impact the experience for every client.

  • Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened service or a rescheduled appointment at the stylist's discretion.

  • If your appointment must be rescheduled due to late arrival, any prepayment on file is forfeited. Your hair retainer is not forfeited as it has already been used to purchase your hair.

  • A prepayment of 50% of the upcoming service will be required to rebook.

If you are running behind, please reach out as early as possible. Accommodations cannot be guaranteed but are appreciated.

6. Hair Purchase & Reservation Policy

 

Alchemy Haus provides hair for all extension services. Clients do not supply their own hair.

  • A hair retainer is required for every new hair order. It must be received before your appointment is confirmed. Hair will not be ordered without it.

  • Hair is a custom order placed specifically for you and cannot be returned or exchanged once ordered.

  • If you cancel after hair has been ordered, your hair retainer is forfeited regardless of notice provided.

  • Hair is discussed and agreed upon during your consultation. Changes to the order after placement are subject to availability and may result in delays.

  • Hair must be paid for in full (via retainer) before it is ordered. No exceptions.

Use the words 'packs' or 'grams' when discussing hair quantities. This helps ensure accurate ordering and consistent results.

7. Redo & Adjustment Policy

 

Your satisfaction is important. If something is not right, please reach out within 48 hours of your appointment.

  • Adjustments are available within 48 hours of your original appointment for issues related to the service as originally agreed upon.

  • Adjustments do not apply to changes in preference, a change of mind, or requests outside the scope of what was agreed upon at booking or consultation.

  • Color corrections, significant changes, or additional work beyond the original service scope will be quoted and charged separately.

  • Redo requests made after 48 hours will be treated as a new appointment and priced accordingly.

Photos taken at the end of your appointment serve as the record of the completed service. Results may vary based on factors including hair condition, home care, and individual healing (for scalp services).

8. Consultation Policy

A consultation is required for all new clients before any service is booked. Current clients pursuing a significant change in service, method, or look are strongly encouraged to book a consultation first.

Consultation Fee

  • Consultations are $100 and must be paid at the time of booking.

  • The $100 fee is applied toward your first service when booked. It is non-refundable if you choose not to move forward — it compensates for the stylist’s time and expertise regardless of outcome.

  • If you no-show or late-cancel your consultation, the $100 fee is forfeited and a new consultation fee is required before any service can be booked.

Consultations are an investment in getting your service right. Coming prepared with inspiration photos and honest information about your hair history leads to the best results.​

 

9. Service Refusal Policy

Alchemy Haus reserves the right to decline, modify, or postpone any service at any time — including for clients who have completed intake forms and signed consent documents.

  • Signed paperwork confirms your disclosed history and agreement to the process. It does not guarantee service if conditions are not suitable on the day of the appointment.

  • If a service is declined or modified due to scalp condition, hair health, or other contraindications, you will be advised of next steps. Any deposit or prepayment will be held and applied to a rescheduled appointment.

  • Your safety and the integrity of your results always take priority over completing a service on a given day.

This applies especially to AI scalp services. Factors such as active scalp conditions, recent chemical treatments, or unhealed skin may require postponement even when prior sessions were completed without issue.

10. Photo & Content Policy

Progress photos are taken before your first AI scalp session and at key points throughout your treatment plan. These photos are used for accurate tracking — results build gradually and documentation helps both of us see your progress clearly.

  • By booking services at Alchemy Haus, you acknowledge that photos may be taken for internal documentation purposes.

  • If you have signed a separate content release, photos may also be used for educational or marketing purposes on Alchemy Haus platforms.

  • If you prefer not to have your photos used for marketing, please let us know in writing before your appointment. Internal documentation photos are still required for scalp services.

11. Communication Policy

All appointment-related communication — including scheduling, cancellations, questions, and policy matters — must be handled through the Alchemy Haus booking system messaging platform.

  • Messages sent through social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) are not monitored for appointment requests and will not be accepted as official notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • The booking system allows for designated communication hours. Messages will be reviewed and responded to at the stylist’s discretion within those hours.

  • Phone calls are available by request only. Please send a message through the booking system to schedule a call.

This policy exists to protect your communication and ensure nothing gets lost. The booking system creates a clear, documented record of all correspondence.

By booking an appointment at Alchemy Haus, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all policies outlined in this document. These policies are in place to protect your time and ensure the best possible experience.
